Zahia Dehar Sexy Dame For Vanity Fair Italy (August 2011) Posted: 25 Aug 2011 10:04 PM PDT Zahia Dehar Sexy Dame For Vanity Fair Italy (August 2011) Wow! That’s all I have to say about the most recent issue of Vanity Fair Italy. The renown magazine features sexy temptress Zahia, who was chosen as the cover-girl. If you’re not familiar with Zahia’s story, note that she went from being a very expensive and deluxe call-girl to a famous “model” all because there were some really veridical allegations about the fact that she was an underage prostitute for some very influential people including politicians and football players. But alas, all that is behind her now and there’s no reason why we can’t enjoy the sight of her really sexy curves. Given her previous employment place, she sure knows how to use her body to her advantage. Have a look at the sexiest pictorial in Vanity Fair Italy, with Zahia. The work of photographer Alix Malka really makes Zahia look even better than in general, so check out the video and photos. Enjoy!

Back to Shool: 5 Universities Lead For Sustainable Fashion Studies Posted: 25 Aug 2011 06:03 PM PDT A new generation of aspiring eco-fashion designers head back to school this week. As the lazy days of summer end, a generation of aspiring fashion designers is heading to school to design the clothing of the future. While the field of fashion design is growing like never before, if an analogy was made between green fashion and the fitness industry—we're only at the leg-warmer stage. Yet analysts predict that eco-conscious clothing will soon develop into a multi-billion-dollar industry. Aspiring green fashion designers need training in sustainable fashion design, responsible manufacturing, eco-friendly materials, and how best to use resources such as organic cotton, wool, and recycled textiles. Its up to future designers to turn consumers from 'democratically' priced fashion to clothing that everyone values as long term wardrobe treasures. Innovative designers are needed to transcend seemingly unusable materials like waste perch skins into the alternative leather jackets of the future. The bottom line is, if it doesn't look good nobody will buy it. There are some major challenges facing our fashion future, but wannabe designers have five hot programs to choose from that are dedicated to educating the students who will shape fashion's future. 1. London College Of Fashion. The Centre for Sustainable Fashion (CSF) was set up at London College of Fashion to be an internationally recognized leader in sustainable fashion eduction, aiming to change the landscape of the fashion industry for good. 2. California College of the Arts. Dedicated to producing not only sustainable products, but also a sustainable culture and society. CCA also offers a course for professional development, the Fashion Sustainability Workshop Series and Certificate Program. Leading industry light Lynda Grose, assistant professor of fashion and sustainability at CCA, teaches a comprehensive approach to sustainability. 3. Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. The world renowned art school offers a master's degree in design for textile futures and focuses on smart, environmentally friendly textile technologies. 4. IED Moda Lab Madrid Courses are offered in Eco Textiles, Ethical Design, and Business & Innovation. 5. Ecotece Institute Brazil’s eco-fashion resource was inspired by São Paulo based journalist Ana Candida Zanesco as a tribute to Mother Earth. In addition to advising fashion designers of the future they allocate resources to collecting research on everything related to fabrics.

Squeaky Clean Bath Tub Chair Design Posted: 25 Aug 2011 02:02 PM PDT Rub a dub dub, three men in a tub (chair). Designers often talk about “clean” design, with crisp lines and an absence of frou-frou decoration. But apparently there’s another kind of clean design – the kind that’s clean because it’s upcycled from objects formerly used to keep people clean, like a bath tub. The Bath & Beyond chair, made by the Israeli designers at Reddish Design Studio, joins a list of other fun eco-friendly chairs such as the modular Loop Chair, the Daily Chair made from the remains of the daily newspaper, and the Rocky Chair made from vintage movie theater seats and rocking chair bases. Upcycled, aesthetic, and allegedly very comfortable, the Bath & Beyond Chair is a welcome addition to our list of sustainably designed chairs. Reddish Studio was founded in 2002 by a pair of industrial designers, Naama Steinbock and Idan Friedman, both graduates of the Holon Academic Institute of Technology. The studio designs a range of products, from household objects to jewelry and furniture, and exhibition design as well. In describing the mission of the studio, the designers write that “Reddish studio focuses on keeping its designs clear and intriguing, and spends most of the time helping objects feel better about themselves.” The bathtub used to create the Bath & Beyond Chair should certainly feel better about itself, for both aesthetic and ecological reasons. Sit and read more about other eco-friendly chair designs::
