Cam: Don't Kid Yourselves It's Over...

Feeling better about life after Greece voted for a government Angela Merkel might get on better with?

The Prime Minister seems worried that once again the Eurozone will try to solider on, now the latest sticking plaster has been applied.

Presumably like most analysts Cameron expects the latest sticking plaster to fall off and a new crisis to emerge within weeks, which is why he's to address the G20 later on Monday and issue a set of grim predictions about the health of the Eurozone.

"Sort it out," is once again the message coming from Britain to the eurozone. It's a message that's been pretty much roundly ignored in the past.

Elsewhere in politics we're watching the Lib Dems' reaction to the MoD's decision to commission new nuclear reactors which could be used to power a new generation of Trident submarines.

Philip Hammond says the reactors could be used for other things, so it doesn't mean he's rubber stamped Trident four years early.

Later this week relations with another bit of Europe will take centre stage as Theresa May asks MPs to pass a motion redefining the interpretation of Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights.

HRH The Prince of Wales: Address to the Nobel Laureates Event at the Sustainable Development Conference Rio 20
As I speak, the world's rainforests continue to be destroyed, wiping out so much of the world's vital biodiversity and removing our chances of storing carbon naturally; and we continue to ignore the painful lessons of the so-called 'Green Revolution' in India by intensifying our food production methods in such blinkered, chemically and technologically-based ways, that the land and the oceans are now both beginning to fail. Tragically, we cannot even plead ignorance of the consequences of our actions, for the scientific evidence is overwhelming and the impacts are well understood.
Max Lawson: The UK's Perfect Storm for Increased Poverty
Being poor in Britain in 2012 is brutal. You are more likely than not to come from a family where people are working, yet still despite your hard work, you cannot afford enough food to eat, or have to choose between heating your house and feeding your kids.
