There's been no shortage of flesh-eating in the news recently. Could our cultural fixation with zombies become a reality?

Probably not, but it's still fun to ask all of the important hypothetical questions - Where would you hide? What would be your weapon of choice? Which 19th century authors would be the most likely to survive an apocalypse of the undead?
