Rihanna Spotted In London Wearing A C*ntlife Tee Shirt RihRih was spotted leaving a London recording studio wearing a tee-shirt that said Cun*life on it. We can’t say it’s too shocking considering she wears a necklace all the time with the same word and she’s even talked about it being her favorite word. That said — Are You Feeling Her Get Up? You might want to read this… Wealth Gap Continues To Widen By Race The Rich are getting richer….. via CNN White Americans have 22 times more wealth than blacks — a gap that nearly doubled during the Great Recession. The median household net worth for whites was $110,729 in 2010, versus $4,995 for blacks, according to recently released Census Bureau figures. The gap between the races widened considerably during the recent economic downturn, which whites weathered better than blacks, Hispanics and Asians. The latter three groups saw their median household net worth fall by roughly 60% between 2005 and 2010, while the median net worth for white households slipped only 23%. The racial wealth divide is nothing new. Black and Hispanic Americans have historically had lower incomes, higher unemployment and less education. That makes it more difficult for these groups to save money and put their capital to work building wealth, said Tatjana Meschede, research director of the Institute on Assets and Social Policy at Brandeis University. The Great Recession exacerbated the problem. In 2005, the net worth difference wasn’t quite as stark. Whites had 12 times more wealth than blacks and 8 times more than Hispanics. The main reason blacks and Hispanics did not fare as well during the economic downturn is that home equity makes up more of their wealth than it does for whites. The housing bubble that preceded the collapse pushed up homeownership rates among blacks and Hispanics, who relied more heavily on high-cost subprime loans to finance their purchases. Posted: 21 Jun 2012 05:44 AM PDT Must be hard out here for a recently unemployed reality TV “star” Jennifer Williams To Have Bentley Repossessed According to TMZ reports: Salt on the wound for fired “Basketball Wives” star Jennifer Williams — TMZ has learned her expensive Bentley is on the verge of being repossessed … by force of law. The Toyota Motor Credit Corporation in Syosset, NY just filed a lawsuit against Williams, claiming she stopped making payments on her used 2006 white Bentley back in 2009 — and it wants the car back. According to the lawsuit, TMCC has made several attempts to peacefully repossess the vehicle … but was unsuccessful. Now, it wants a court to FORCE Williams to give back the car. TMCC is also demanding Williams pay the entire outstanding balance on the car — $92,310. A rep for Williams tells TMZ, “Jennifer hasn’t been served documents in reference to this lawsuit. Anything related to community property acquired during the marriage, such as the car, is an issue that is currently being addressed in her divorce proceedings.” TMZ broke the story … Williams filed for divorce from her husband Eric in July 2011.
