The Miami Heat Defeat Oklahoma City Thunder 104-98 In Game 4 Of NBA Finals Allusions to heavyweight boxing and prizefights are all around the Heat in these NBA Finals, and all of them seemed more fitting than ever as midnight neared Tuesday and Miami stood bruised, exhausted but tall over a staggered opponent. The pastor of Macedonia Baptist Church says the phrase “Ultimate Racism: Abortionists Target Black Babies” aims to education people about abortion. “I cannot be silent and just say that’s somebody else’s problem or I’m not dark enough to care about that issue. I can’t do that,” Pastor Patrick Dye said. “This is the crime of America.” Dye put up those words last Thursday. He says the “abortionists” include, but are not limited to, Planned Parenthood. “Planned Parenthood purposely locates in minority communities,” Dye said. “The Planned Parenthood clinic is located at the edge of a white community, but right there within walking distance of the housing project on Forest Drive and Two Notch Road.” Dye assumes the clinic’s location is in part responsible for attracting African-American patients. A Planned Parenthood representative says the average patient is a white female between the ages of 18 to 24 who is looking for birth control. The groups says race is not a factor and doesn’t intentionally target black babies. The Department of Health and Environmental Control has data showing that in 2010 that black women in Richland County were almost three times as likely to have an abortion. But Planned Parenthood said that just because more black women were likely to have abortions that year does not necessarily mean that population was targeted, nor does it mean that Planned Parenthood is responsible for that percentage. North Carolina Man Arrested After Biting Police Dog Some jacka$$ in North Carolina tried to bite a police dog after the animal successfully caught up to him during a police chase: A North Carolina man was arrested after allegedly biting a police dog's ear so badly that the canine needed more than fifteen stitches. Travis Glaspie reportedly chomped on the ear of K-9 Officer Maxx when the dog caught him during a police chase Sunday, WWAY-TV reports. Police said the 22-year-old ran when cops tried to arrest him onoutstanding warrants for possession of a firearm by a felon and firing into an occupied vehicle. Maxx, who has been on duty since February, reportedly caught up with the suspect soon after and the pair engaged in a bloody struggle. Cpl. David Pellegrino said that this was the first time he'd ever seen someone try to bite one of Wilmington Police Department's canine officers. "When he was biting the dog, it was something we haven't seen," Cpl. David Pellegrino told the local station. "Yes, our dogs do get assaulted, but no one has ever tried to cannibalize one of our animals before." Glaspie was also treated for several bite wounds in his thigh, but officers said that his injuries were nothing near what Maxx endured. The alleged attacker is charged with felony assault on a law enforcement animal, assault on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest, property damage and possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance, according to WWAY. Schedule IV drugs include steroids, benzodiazepines, barbituates and cathine. Glaspie remains in police custody. His bail is set at $1,025,000. Say it with us people… Drugs are bad, m’kay! However this figure was a tiny fraction of the estimated number of people held in bondage with the International Labor Organization estimating earlier this month that there are about 20.9 million victims of modern slavery, the State Department Trafficking in Persons Report noted. Under the Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2003, foreign governments must supply information about trafficking investigations and prosecutions to the State Department in order to be considered by the U.S. as working to eliminate slavery. The report details the problem of trafficking in countries around the world, including victims’ accounts. “I walk around and carry the physical scars of the torture you put me through. The cigarette burns, the knife carvings, the piercings … how a human being can see humor in the torture, manipulation, and brainwashing of another human being is beyond comprehension. You have given me a life sentence,” it quotes a victim of sex trafficking in the U.S. as telling her trafficker at his sentencing. Another trafficking survivor in the U.S. named “Tonya” said she “always felt like a criminal.” “I never felt like a victim at all. Victims don’t do time in jail, they work on the healing process. I was a criminal because I spent time in jail,” she said. Source

Via TMZ reports: Flavor Flav will not be going to prison … at least not today … ’cause the rapper has forked over enough back child support to his baby mama to satisfy the court. As TMZ reported, Flav was in deep trouble … facing 180 days in the big house after falling behind in child support payments to the tune of $111,186. But moments ago, Flav appeared in Albany County Family Court … sportin’ his trademark giant clock around his neck, of course. The court clerk tells us the Public Enemy hype man “took care” of his child support issues with Angie Parker — the mother of 3 of his children. The court would not reveal if Flav paid off the entire debt. The next court date is scheduled for September — when the judge will make sure Flav is keeping up with his child support obligations. His new chicken spot side hustle might be paying the bills after all!
